Klute's latest body of work includes a series of boldly-coloured and closely cropped images of woodland, where the sinuous, coiling branches and the densely-clustered foliage recall her earlier sculptures of intertwining, disembodied limbs. There's a sense of abundant life, straining and competing for dominance in world where order is an illusion and nature remains unencumbered by our efforts to control it.
