Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026

Following a record-breaking 2025, Dublin Gallery Weekend returns from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2026, bringing together Ireland’s most dynamic artists and galleries for four days of contemporary visual art across the capital.

Presented by the Contemporary Art Gallery Association (CAGA) and produced by SoSimpatico, the 2026 edition will invite audiences from Ireland and internationally to discover Ireland’s contemporary art scene through exhibitions, artist talks, art trails, workshops, and citywide cultural collaborations.

At the heart of the weekend is an exceptional programme of new exhibitions at CAGA galleries. Green on Red Gallery presents Veil, a new body of work by Damien Flood; Hillsboro Fine Art pairs Cecilia Bullo and Kevin Mooney in Silt & Sorcery; Kerlin Gallery presents Northern Sky, new landscape paintings by Elizabeth Magill; Kevin Kavanagh exhibits Sonia Shiel’s The Nature of Tables; and the Molesworth Gallery presents Mythologies by John Kindness.

Elsewhere, Oliver Sears Gallery brings together works by David Hockney, Giorgio Morandi, Bruce McLean, Amelia Stein, Sasha Sykes and Jason Ellis; Olivier Cornet Gallery marks 300 years of Jonathan Swift’s Gulliver’s Travels with Tales of Human Follies; Solomon Fine Art presents TomCliment’s Heliotropism; SO Fine Art Editions, with Island Photographers, presents Island Portrait; and Taylor Galleries stages concurrent solo exhibitions by John Doherty and Martin Gale.

A CITYWIDE CELEBRATION OF CONTEMPORARY ART

Today’s announcement is the first glimpse of a much larger Dublin Gallery Weekend 2026 programme. Further announcements will include collaborations with major national cultural institutions, artist talks, workshops, special gallery events, citywide art trails and much more.
